A White Candle In The Adoration Chapel

I've always assumed that lamps for tabernacles were supposed to be red, so I often wondered why the Adoration Chapel in a nearby Catholic Church has a white one.  This past week, an employee of the church happened to come in while I was spending some much-needed time with God. He explained to me that a red lamp/candle is merely traditional. A light representing the light of Christ is the main point. I never knew that!

  1. That's a beautiful chapel. Thanks for reminding me to spend time with Jesus in adoration. Diane :)
