St. Phoebe is believed to be the deliverer of Paul's Letter to the Romans.  In the last chapter of the letter (Chapter 16), Paul asked the Christians of Rome to treat Phoebe with kindness, respect, and assistance.  Various translations of Romans 16:1 refer to her as a minister, a deacon/ess, or one who serves:

Rheims New Testament
And I commend to you Phoebe, our sister, who is in the ministry of the church, that is in Cenchrae ...

New American Bible
I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is [also] a minister of the church at Cenchreae ...

Good News Translation

Christian Community Bible
I recommend to you out sister Phoebe, deaconess of the church of Cenchreae.

By the way ... Cenchreae (SEN-kree-uh) was a harbor city about seven miles east of Corinth (Greece).  Paul once got his hair cut there (Acts 18:18).

Pope Saint Gregory the Great

The proof of love is in the works.
Where love exists, it works great things.
But when it ceases to act, it ceases to exist.
~ Pope St. Gregory the Great

The Castle was built at the site where Pope Saint Gregory the Great had a vision of an angel.

St. Gregory the Great also purportedly gave great encouragement and support to the chanting of prayers ... now referred to as Gregorian Chant ...
