Ukrainian Easter Eggs - Pysanky

I just love the art of hand-decorated Ukrainian Easter Eggs.  The orange-ish/green-ish egg below was a gift from my son's soon-to-be in-laws.
The cross shape on the front and back of the egg stands for Christ's Crucifixion.  The sun-looking design in the middle represents life and the pine needles symbolize growth.

The sides of the egg depict three "suns."  The yellow nets in the corners of each sun symbolize Jesus calling Peter, Andrew, James, and John to become fishers of men.  The triangles throughout represent the Holy Trinity.
